the truth, the truth and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH! I stay at home to get the truth, because I'm tired of churches extorting money and watering down the Bible, then you challenge them and you're called a "rebellious spirit!"thanks for the truth!;)

Excellent article!!!! I think that a lot of Christians think that once they are saved, then their work is done. That it's the end and there's nothing else to do or observe - but it is only the beginning. Afterwards is where you put your money where your mouth is so to speak. Anyone can profess anything, but proof, evidence will separate the true from the counterfeit.

Whenever you say the word "work", most people immediately put it in the context of salvation and they are quick to say that 'you cannot earn your salvation'. But that is not what you are saying. You are speaking of AFTERWARDS - after you are saved. By doing good works, you are not trying to earn salvation, rather it is the fruit of a believer. The results of being saved. But that distinction has been blurred and even mingled together. As soon as you speak of 'works', it is immediately rejected as heresy and so they think of works as a bad thing. Some will even go so far as to do nothing in their walks, basically paralyzing themselves saying 'I can do nothing, only Christ can'. They think they are giving Him glory by 'letting go and letting God' but in reality they are a stench in His nostrils! Yes God can do anything but we also are required to do things that gives evidence of our faith. (obedience, repentance, works etc.)
